Links and Adverts and Questions: Oh My...

We have learned a valuable lesson at SiteProNews this week. If you want to get a rise out of our readers, write articles or blog posts about link practices or the value of display advertising. We have gotten a great deal of response to two recent items that have appeared in these pages.

The first and most controversial was the coverage of Jakob Nielsen's display advertising eyetracking study, "Most Dispaly Ads Ignored - Jakob Nielsen". Jakob's thoughts have resonated with some readers and bothered others.

The second and soon to be more controversial (if reader email is any indication), is an article published at SiteProNews.com last week and reprinted in the emailed newsletter this morning, "Suicide in Cyberspace - Your Outward Links Can Kill Your Rankings". When I have a few minutes, I will post a couple of responses to open the floor for comments.
